I love the film look, grainy with vibrant colors and lots of contrast, but financial it isn't sustainable for me. I am very stingy with my rolls of film, so I found another way to create this affect. My hybrid shooting method utilizes a digital camera body - fujifilm X-pro1, a camera already well known for its film like sensor and viewfinder capabilities - and a film camera lens, a 28mm from my Olympus OM-1. These hybrid style combines the modernity of new age photography with the skillset implemented in classic film photography and creates beautiful film-esque photographs that embody both techniques.
